Troubleshooting Schedule Issues: LEDs Not Turning On or Off at the Correct Time
LEDs Are Not Turning On with the Timer
1. Re-save your preset
If the lights are not turning on with the timer, the preset may not have been saved correctly.
- Go to the preset you want to use.
- Turn it on manually.
- Re-save it, ensuring you check the box for "Save Segment Bounds" during the save process.
2. Check Your Time Zone
If your lights are turning on but at the wrong time, the time zone might be incorrect.
- Navigate to Config > Time & Macros.
- Verify the time zone listed at the top matches your local time zone. Adjust if needed.
LEDs Are Turning Off at the Incorrect Time
1. Using Multiple Controllers?
When using multiple controllers with the sync function enabled, set timers on only one controller. Having schedules on multiple controllers can cause interference, leading to erratic behavior.
2. Avoid Setting Timers for 24:00
If you want the lights to turn off at midnight:
- Do not use 24h 00m as this may cause random behavior.
- Instead, use 00h 00m.
- If issues persist, try setting the timer to 23h 59m or 00h 01m.
